BISD HopeStrong For a Cure

Each day, 36 children are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. and 7 children will lose that battle. St. Jude treatments have increased childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor and remember children and families affected by the many diseases of cancer. It’s also a time to rally support to give hope to cancer-stricken kids by supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital and their groundbreaking research.

Bastrop High School and Cedar Creek High School are uniting to support the fight for so many children who have battled cancer, including those in the Bastrop Independent School District. As a BISD Community Member, you can show your support by ordering a $15 HopeStrong shirt or a $20 HopeStrong baseball shirt. All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

On December 4, 2017, Bastrop ISD gave St. Jude Children's Research Hospital a check for $22,000. This was the money raised from this year's Hope Strong campaign! We are so proud of our staff, students, and BISD family for making this donation possible.
Shirt sizes are available on the order form on the right-hand corner of this page.
Shirts can be purchased through your child's campus,
or campus liaisons
                                                                                       or at the
