BISD HopeStrong For a Cure

Each day, 36 children are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. and 7 children will lose that battle. St. Jude treatments have increased childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80%!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor and remember children and families affected by the many diseases of cancer. It’s also a time to rally support to give hope to cancer-stricken kids by supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital and their groundbreaking research.

Bastrop High School and Cedar Creek High School are uniting to support the fight for so many children who have battled cancer, including those in the Bastrop Independent School District. As a BISD Community Member, you can show your support by ordering a $13 HopeStrong t-shirt or a $17 HopeStrong baseball tee. All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

T-Shirts can be purchased through your child's campus or at the
BISD Service Center located at 906 Farm Street. Click here for a list of campus HopeStrong contacts.
T-shirts will also be sold at the Varsity home football games.
