For students interested in a Career in Construction the Construction Technology Pathway is a great way to get a head start in the industry. The Architecture and Construction Technology cluster is offered to students at Cedar Creek High School. This fully equipped facility was many of the latest tools and equipment used in the industry today. Students learn hands on the skills that help them succeed in this rewarding and expanding field. Students in this cluster will be able to attain their 10 hour OSHA certification card that lets potential employers know they have the basic back ground in Safety before they hire them. Students will also be taught using the industrially recognized NCCER curriculum for Construction Technology. This curriculum allows students to become NCCER certified allowing employers to know they have the basic knowledge needed to enter the construction field.  Students in this cluster have the option of becoming members of the CCHS Skills USA chapter.  Members of this student organization can test their skill level by competing against students across the state in career development contest. Students that complete the Advance Construction Technology can earn hours of articulated credit through Austin Community College.
