BISD continues to provide a comprehensive benefit package to its employees, with competitive, affordable, and quality healthcare offered by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas - ActiveCare and other basic benefit plans offering vision care, dental care, disability, life insurance coverage, and the iLock 360 Identity Theft Protection Plan.

Who can enroll:

Employees working 20 or more hours per week

Substitutes who regularly work 10 or more hours per week

Eligible for:

All types of plans, and the District Contribution to the medical premium

Medical plans only, No District Monthly Contribution

 

     * Bastrop ISD contributes $325 per month to all full-time employees’ monthly medical insurance premiums.

*   * Bastrop ISD employees receive a paycheck semi-monthly; on the 15th and the next to last business day of each     month. 

 

 

 

NO MEDICAL INS ID CARD?  

If you did not change plans you will not receive a new card for the 2016-17 Plan Year.  You will continue to use your previous card.  If you should have received a new card, and did not, please click appropriate link below.

Humana Dental is the dental insurance for the 2016-17 plan year.  

 

Please login to the benefits portal, Click on the Reference Center, Click on DENTAL PLANS for additional information.  

 

  

Superior Vision is the vision insurance for the 2016-17 plan year. The vision insurance cards can also be downloaded from the Superior Vision website:  www.superiorvision.com
