The Department of Curriculum and Instruction serves to support quality teaching and learning for all students and staff in the school district. The primary responsibilities of this department include:
- Developing aligned, rigorous, and relevant curriculum and assessment for all grade levels and courses
- Supporting the campus leadership and staff in the implementation of the written, taught, and assessed curriculum
- Providing and supporting high quality staff development for all campuses in the district that is research-based and is designed based on identified instructional needs
- Overseeing the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of all federal, state, and local programs/initiatives
