Hello BIS Parents and Students!

My name is Melissa Hanna, and I have been teaching for 23 years.  I have taught at BISD for 20 of those 23 years.  I am currently a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Bastrop Intermediate.  I work with dyslexic students to improve reading and spelling skills.  I must say, I have the best job!   I love working with my students and watching them grow as readers and people. You might see me out and about at sporting events because I coach girls volleyball, basketball and track at Bastrop Middle School.
