My name is Denise Busche. I have been teaching for twenty-nine years here in Bastrop. My experience includes teaching fourth and second grades. This is my fifth year teaching kindergarten, I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University (Muncie, Indiana). My degree is in Primary Education- grades K-3 and I am certified by the state of Texas to teach grades PK-6. In 2000-2001, I was honored to be chosen as the Emile Elementary Teacher of the Year.

In my classroom, I strive to provide an atmosphere where students are excited about learning and are not afraid to try new things. I believe that all children can learn. Students, parents and teachers working together ensure that each child has a successful year.
