I teach 7th grade science at Bastrop Middle School. I graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a degree in communications. Along with brief careers as a personal trainer and HVAC installer and technician, I spent seven years working in a pre-school classroom. I spend most of my time outside of school enjoying the natural world and exploring new cities and countries in order to learn about their cultures. I love learning new skills and hobbies and encourage my students to push themselves to learn new things in their personal lives as well as their academic lives.
