Dr. Godinez's career spans 31 years both in Mexico and the US as a bilingual educator, curriculum translation/ developer, and elementary school principal. Her work has taken her to Monterrey, Mexico, Minnesota, Austin, and Bastrop. As a turn-around principal, she implemented successful and results-proven systems for instruction delivery that kept her schools moving forward in the areas of literacy and mathematics.
Dr. Godinez earned her Masters of Arts degree and her PhD, in bilingual education, from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Mexico.
