Meet the Assistant Principals
Annette AlmendarezIn 2003, I made the best decision of my life after being in the field of social work for ten years (which I have to say was also a very rewarding experience). I decided to join the wonderful world of educators. I have a Bachelor's degree from Our Lady of the Lake in Social Work and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State University. In 2008, I was accepted into Region XIII's Principalship program and also hired for my very first administrator position.I am the proud Assistant Principal at Cedar Creek Elementary where all students achieve their highest potential due to the continued support they receive from their parents, teachers and volunteers in a variety of curricular and extracurricular activities.Contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Anahi PérezAs we roll into another exciting school year I am looking forward to serving and supporting the Cedar Creek Elementary Staff with the main goal of providing a safe environment where children from the community can grow. I began my education career back in 2004 in Brownsville ISD in the South Texas border area. My work has taken me to Austin ISD and Del Valle ISD where I served students ranging from K-12th mainly focusing in the areas of Special Education and English as a Second Language. I have a B.F.A from Texas State University in Communication Design and I received my Master of Special Education Degree from Texas Tech University in 2011. Let's make the most of this and every day at CCE!
