• These are websites that I recommend as learning resources for young learners:

www.starfall.com - Letter identification, letter sounds, phonemic awareness, decodable stories, songs, etc. The graphics are exciting and fun...kids love Starfall.com!

We use the free app Little Writer in class to learn how to write UPPERCASE and lowercase letters and numbers, and to draw shapes.

Another very effective free app we'll use in class is 123 Genius - First Numbers and Counting.

Another resource is the "homework" that I will send home. Pre-K does not require homework, but I send home activities that students work on in small-group. In my experience, Pre-K students LOVE showing their families what they work on in class. They usually ask for homework!
