• I am excited to serve as Assistant Principal at Emile Elementary. As a Bastrop High School graduate, it is so rewarding to serve in this capacity within the community that helped shape me as a young learner.

This is my 23rd year in education, having taught all grade levels from 1st through 6th grade. I have served as an Instructional Coach and Campus Administrator. I received my bachelors degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, masters from Texas A & M Commerce and received certification from Harvard Graduate School of Education as part of the Raise Your Hand Texas Cohort.

In my off time, you might spot me around town riding my bike, walking my two Jack Russells, or at the park with my granddaughters.  The sense of family and pride that the Emile staff instills in each other and the students make each day such a joy.
