2026 School Board Election
After the state defined period for filing for a place on the ballot (January 14th,2026 - February 13th, 2026) Joshua Coy (Place 3) and Priscilla Ruiz (Place 4) have been certified as unopposed for their positions scheduled for election on May 2nd, 2026. By action of the Bastrop ISD Board of Trustees on March 10th, 2026 they are hereby elected as school trustees, and the May 2nd, 2026 school board election has been cancelled.

Bastrop ISD will hold a Regular Election (CANCELLED) for Board of Trustees, Places 3 and 4 on May 2, 2026.
Applications for a place on the ballot can be submitted, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, at the district offices January 14, 2026 - February 13, 2026.
Election results are posted on the Bastrop County election website beginning at 7:00 p.m., on election day.
