BootUp 1:1 Technology Initiative
Bastrop ISD has launched the BootUp 1:1 Technology Initiative, assigning Chromebooks to all 6th through 12th grade students for use at school and home. Students will benefit from this initiative by accessing high-quality instructional materials and actively practicing good stewardship of technology in all aspects, including digital citizenship and general maintenance/device care. Alignment to Curriculum & Instruction
The vision of the BootUp Technology Initiative is aligned to directly support the continuous improvement of the curriculum system to ensure that students receive guaranteed access to grade-level content and high-quality instruction on every campus, every day.
Attainment Goal
To ensure the use of technology and digital learning is not only in alignment to the Bastrop ISD Strategic Plan, it is also essential for this work to be in alignment with the goals of the State of Texas. Therefore, the following goals are direct alignment with the 2018-2025 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Technology Plan.

- Digital Citizenship: Educate and reinforce responsible, safe, respectful, and legal use of technology

- Reliable Infrastructure: Monitor and maintain a robust and secure district-wide network to support the district’s technology initiative in elementary and secondary spaces
