Theatre Arts Programs in Bastrop ISD
Bastrop ISD offers a vibrant theatre arts program for students in grades 6–12, providing a creative space for self-expression, collaboration, and skill-building. Beginning in middle school, students are introduced to the fundamentals of performance and stagecraft, developing confidence and communication through engaging theatre classes and introductory productions.
As students progress into high school, they can deepen their involvement through a wide range of coursework and hands-on experiences in both performance and technical theatre. From acting and directing to set design and stage management, the program supports a well-rounded theatre education. Students also have opportunities to participate in UIL competitions, community performances, and local arts events, enriching their artistic journey and building connections beyond the classroom.
