- We will review certification requirements and timelines with teachers during three separate New Hire Meetings held at each campus.
- We will monitor teacher certification status during the fall and in the spring (3x per year).
- HR Specialist will met with principals in October to review the status of uncertified teachers. Second meeting will be scheduled in February.
- HR is available to teachers who want to schedule individual meetings for support or questions.
- We will host a Fall Certification Fair in November with multiple certification partners, and will host a Spring Certification Fair in February.
- We applied for the Grow Your Own Allotment through the LASO 4 grant, which would provide financial support for employees enrolled in approved teacher certification programs. TEA will announce allotment amounts on February 2.
