Transfers

Welcome to the Bastrop ISD Student Services Department. The Student Services Department is committed to providing service-oriented support and resources to the Bastrop ISD community and its stakeholders. Our team strives to be solution-driven while keeping our students, families, schools, and staff at the center of our work. 

2025-26 CAMPUS TRANSFER APPLICATIONS

The annual transfer window is open each year during the four weeks immediately before Spring Break. If you need assistance with a transfer request outside this window, please send an email to transfers@bisdtx.org and include the following information:
 
  • Student Name
  • Student Grade Level
  • Campus Requested
  • Reason for the Request
 
In addition, if the parent of the student is a BISD or Goldstar employee; is active duty military or law enforcement; or if you have received notification that the school to which your child is zoned has been classified as a PEG ("F" rated) campus, please include that information in your email as well. A staff member will respond to your inquiry promptly.
