• My name is Cassidy Mercer and I have been an agricultural science teacher for 6 years- all at Cedar Creek High School! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Science. Since beginning my journey at CCHS, I have taught Principles of Ag, Food, and Natural Resources, Principles and Elements of Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, Horticultural Science, Landscape Management, Livestock Production, and Veterinary Science.  I absolutely love what I do. Seeing students learn day in and day out through hands-on activities motivates me to do my best to give them the education they deserve. My passion for teaching students combined with my love of animals makes this the perfect occupation for me.

I also serve as the FFA advisor and have the opportunity to travel with students so that they can experience life-changing contests, camps, and conventions, as well as make long-lasting friendships. Through these events, students can earn scholarships and awards, while gaining premier leadership skills, growing as an individual, and attaining career success.

Thank you for trusting me to educate your student to the best of my ability! If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me via my email at camercer@bisdtx.org.
