• Hello, my name is Clare Shelton and I teach classes within the Health Science Technology pathway. This year I am teaching Practicum with the focus on Pharmacy Technician and Prinicipals of Health Science classes. The Practicum class is working on certification in Pharmacy Technician and will be ready to take the Certification exam in May. The Principals of Health Scvience class is a 1st year class and they will be learning about health care and the careers associated with it.  It is important that your child attend class and only be absence when absolutely necessary due to the content that we will cover. The classes are fast paced but can be very interesting and fun as long as the student does their part. They must complete their assignments and study for test. I rarely give homework so studying their notes for exams is very important.

This is my 7th year at CCHS  and 11th year with BISD teaching within this pathway.  I have been a RN for 30+ years and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist I am board certified in Adult Health. As a nurse I have worked in a variety of settings and held numerous positions.  I love teaching this pathway and helping the students prepare for their continued education/career in all aspects of health care.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. My Conference time is 1145-1245 M-F. Email is the quickest way to contact me and get a quick response. I welcome all parental involvement and support.
