In my 26th year of public school teaching, I have enjoyed my first year teaching in Bastrop. I've bought a house here and am happpily living in

Bastrop, Texas.  I have lived in Central Texas now for over 10 years. I call this area my home. I graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, formerly called Corpus Christi State University. I have also attended Texas State University, working on a master's degree in Conducting.

I have served as Texas Music Educator Association Region Chair, and Vice-President in Region 14. In that capacity, I have also served on the TMEA State Board. In the past I have been site host for University Interscholastic League Choir Concert and Sight Reading Contest for over 10 years. I have also worked for UIL Area Band Contest and Buccaneer Days Choir, Orchestra and Band Contests.

As a sought after accompanist, I have served band, choir and orchestras throughout Central Texas public schools systems. I have also served as judge and clinician in Regions 14, 15, 18, 26 and 32.
