Ms. Lombardo (6th ELA)
My name is Amanda Josephine Lombardo, and I graduated from Texas State University. I grew up in San Marcos and Kyle but currently live in Lockhart. I wanted to be a journalist, but after working as a teacher assistant at Austin High School; I realized I had a passion to teach. I love helping people and education seemed like the perfect fit. I want to educate the young minds of every generation to better the future. My Beliefs:
I recognize parents as the primary educators and believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success.
Teachers should provide opportunities for students with and without disabilities to grow and develop physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively together.
I believe learning should be meaningful and should build connections to prior knowledge or experiences.
I believe children learn differently, but all children can learn.
