Hi, my name is Joanne Brown. I am very excited to be a Special Education Teacher here at Cedar Creek Elementary. I have been teaching for 23 years. I received my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Concordia Univeristy Texas. My endorsements include Generalist EC-6, ESL and Special Education (K-12). This is my first year to teach in Bastrop.
I have taught various grades from kindergarten through 8th grade. I currently work with grades K-4 in reading and math. You can find me either in many of the classrooms here at CCE or you can find me in my own classroom with a small group. I am working on helping students build a stronger foundation in their learning so that they can be successful and reach their goals.
