Bastrop ISD accepts transfers for students who reside outside of the district. Annual tuition is $3,000 per student, per year, billed in monthly payments of $300 from August to May. Tuition is waived for children of BISD employees. 

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM FEBRUARY 13 - MARCH 3, 2023. 

Paper copies are available by emailing Carolyn Hoeflein at choeflein@bisdtx.org or families may pick up a copy at the BISD Service Center located at 906 Farm Street, Bastrop, TX 78602.

Families will be notified by email of an approved request and by email and a letter through the mail for a denied request.
