Bastrop ISD Communications Department Earns Multiple State Awards

Congratulations to our Bastrop ISD Communications Department for winning seven Star Awards at the annual Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) conference held this month in Galveston, Tx.

“This recognition is a testament to the creativity, collaboration, and commitment of Lauri Anzaldua, Communications Coordinator and Chris White, Communications Specialist and our entire Communications team. Each award represents the powerful stories of our students and staff, and we are honored to showcase the excellence happening across Bastrop ISD,” said Evan Moilan, Executive Director of Communications.

TSPRA is a nonprofit, professional organization dedicated to promoting public schools through effective communications. The annual Star Awards celebrate outstanding work in education communications and public relations. Award entries are separated into one of three different categories based on student enrollment: less than 15,000 students, 15,000 to 40,000 students, and more than 40,000 students. Bastrop ISD competes in the less than 15,000 students category.
