Parents must complete New Student Enrollment for any child that is new to Bastrop ISD or if they have not been enrolled in the previous six months.

New student registrations for the 2025-26 school year are currently being accepted. New student registrations for the 2026-27 school year will open on April 1, 2026.
 
Please note, a valid email address is required to create an account and enroll your child.
 

1. The first step in enrolling your student at Bastrop ISD is creating a New Student Enrollment account.
   • If you are enrolling a child who is the sibling of a student currently enrolled in Bastrop ISD, you do not need to create a new account. You can enroll a new student by selecting "New Student Online Enrollment" in your Family Access portal.
2. Once you have requested an account, you will receive an email with your New Student Online Enrollment portal login and password.
3. You will be redirected to the New Student Online Enrollment portal login page and can use your new credentials to complete the application process.

  
The process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete per child.

Bastrop ISD offers full-day Pre-Kindergarten for eligible children at our elementary schools. If your child will be 4 years old by September 1 and meets certain state criteria, they may qualify.

OPENING APRIL 1, 2026

Returning Student Verification is required for all students that are currently enrolled in Bastrop ISD and returning for the 2026-27 school year. Parents/Guardians may begin this process on April 1, 2026.
 

1. To begin the verification process, log into your Family Access account.
2. After logging into Family Access, you will select "Returning Student Online Registration".
3. Complete the online registration process and verify that all of your child's information is correct.
   • If applicable, make sure to provide updates to any information that has changed, such as contact information, emergency contacts, and student health history.

 
Returning Student Verification must be completed before students can receive teacher assignments or schedules, care from campus healthcare professionals, or bus transportation for the 2026-27 school year.

If you cannot remember your Family Access credentials, use the Forgot Your Login/Password? link. If you're still having trouble logging in to Family Access, contact your child's current campus.
