School Board Calls May 2021 Bond and Board Election
The Bastrop ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted Tuesday, January 19 to call a bond election for May 1, 2021. The $183,650,000 bond proposal will have no tax rate increase. The Board also called for a trustee election for Places 1 and 2.

BISD schools remain closed through Monday, February 22
Schools will remain closed to allow Bastrop ISD an opportunity to finalize repairs to our schools as a result of the winter storm and to secure bottled water for drinking for those schools still under a boil water notice. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, February 23.

Bastrop ISD will delay the start of school on Friday, February 12 by two hours. Buses will run two hours later than normal.

Winter Break COVID Protocols
Bastrop ISD will be closed for Winter Break December 18, 2020 through January 3, 2021. During this period, Bastrop ISD will not be collecting, tracing or reporting student and staff COVID cases (with the exception of the first weekend of the break, extracurricular and STARS).
