Chris Lairscey named Director of Digital Learning & Library Services
In this role, he will lead the District’s digital learning initiatives, focusing on the successful integration of technology into instruction to enhance teaching and learning. He will also work to elevate the District’s library spaces with a focus on future-ready opportunities for BISD students.

Raina Ellis named Director of College, Career and Military Readiness
Raina Ellis has been named Director of College, Career and Military Readiness for Bastrop ISD. This role oversees the District’s Counseling, Career & Technical Education, P-TECH, and Work Based Learning programs.

Mike White Named Chief Financial Officer
Mike White has been named Chief Financial Officer for Bastrop ISD. This role oversees the financial and business affairs of the district, including budget development and management, payroll, purchasing, debt services, and accounts payable.

December Board Meeting Canceled
The regular monthly meeting of the Bastrop ISD Board of Trustees originally scheduled for December 17, 2024 was canceled at the November board meeting. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
