Forensic Science Students at Bastrop High School Conduct Hands-On Arson Investigation Lesson
Forensic Science students at Bastrop High School took their learning to the next level with a hands-on Arson unit. On Friday, January 31, students set fire to miniature structures they built, observing and documenting the behavior of fire.

BHS Hosts Free Heart Screenings for Teens
Championship Hearts Foundation is partnering with the Christian Harman Memorial Golf Tournament to coordinate a free heart screening for Bastrop County teens ages 14-18. This year’s event will take place Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bastrop High School.
