Martin Conrardy

  • The opportunity to serve the students and families of Bastrop ISD as the principal of Genesis High School is one that I undertake with the sincere desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our young men and women. Our purpose is to graduate our students and transition them into post-secondary education and the workforce in an expedient manner. Genesis HS offers the same high school degree programs accessible to students at both Bastrop and Cedar Creek HS. We have smaller classes and students work at individual paces. Enrollment at Genesis HS begins with an application. Interested applicants should have finished their second year of high school, be at least 16 years of age and in good standing with their current school. Students who attend Genesis HS are required to follow the same compulsory attendance and discipline guidelines that apply to all high school students in Texas. Interested students and parents should consult with the Associate Principal at Bastrop High School or Cedar Creek High School.

I am in my 34th year as an educator in Texas. I have taught all of the social studies at the high school level and served as an assistant and associate principal. Genesis High School was my first position as principal. I earned a BA in History from the University of Northern Colorado and my Masters in Education Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
