My name is Susie Martinez I have taught 1st through 8th grades. This is my 27th year teachiing and my 2nd year at Lost Pines Elementary. I moved from 4th grade last year to 2nd grade this year. I am very excited about this change and look forward to an exciting new year. My alma mater is The University of Kentucky in Richmond, Kentucky, where I obtained my
Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. I am also certified in Special Education PK-12, English As A Second Language PK-12 and Gifted and Talented. I also served my country in The United States Marine Corps.
I have 3 children. I love to read and work in the yard.
I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I strive to bring consistency, diligence, and warth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourag present and future leaders.
