Hello! I am Ana Cox. I am so excited to be your 1st grade teacher this year! I have been a 2nd grade teacher at Lost Pines Elementary for six years and a substitute teacher before that for 8 years. Now I am super excited to be teaching 1st grade!
I was raised in Spain and when I was 16 years old my family came to live in Texas, where my father is from. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Spanish, I received my bilingual teacher;s certification from Texas Teachers. I have been married to my husband Paul for 27 years. We have lived in Bastrop for 25 years. We have two amazing grown daughters Catherine and Emily. We have three dogs Simba, Skittle and Violet and a crazy cat named Google. I am looking forward to a great year ahead as your teacher!
