I am Daniel Brown, and I am honored to lead Cedar Creek Middle School. At CCMS our goal is to be a school community that sets high expectations for personal accountability, that maintains a growth mindset, that is open and honest in our community, and where critical thinking and problem solving are the norm.
Our goal at CCMS is to engage in meaningful work every day that challenges our students and ourselves. As a former coach, I believe in giving explicit instructions about our campus expectations and practicing those skills and behaviors every day consistently and deliberately. This will help us be successful in and out of the classroom. It will take a team effort from our teachers, our students, our parents, and the support of our community to make it happen. We are all responsible for the success of CCMS!
Students – embrace the challenge every day! Know that how you respond to challenges will define your character and character matters. Make positive decisions for yourself and your family. Commit yourself to becoming a strong Kodiak!
Parents – we need your involvement and your support. Please communicate with your child’s teachers and contact the office if you ever have any questions, concerns or needs. I invite you to be part of the life of our campus and in your child’s educational experience--volunteer, join PTA, and attend our family and student events. You can find all this information on our website and Facebook page throughout the year.
I am looking forward to an amazing year as the new principal of Cedar Creek Middle School and getting to know as many of you as I can. Thank you in advance for your support and your patience. We’re going to have a great year!
Daniel Brown, Principal
