Meet Your Teacher

      I was born in Austin, Texas. I grew up and went to school in Austin.  After we moved to Lincoln, I went to St. John’s Lutheran School.  Then I finished my last four years of School at Giddings High School.  I went to college at Austin Community College and finished my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Southwest Texas University.  I student taught at Mina, under Vicki Oates and then began teaching at Lost Pines when it opened in the 2004 – 2005 school year.

     This will be my 16th year teaching Kindergarten, and it gets better every year. I feel my experience in Kindergarten the last couple years has helped me grow more, not only as a person, but to become a better educator. I truly love teaching and look forward to see the growth each of you will make in our time together!!!

     I am married and I have four dogs, Jackson, Mike, Gidget and Mimi.  This year my Husband Ramon and I will be married for 19 years.  We live in Lincoln, Texas, about 8 miles north of Giddings. I look forward to showing you pictures and sharing more of my life with you throughout the year.

     I am so excited to be your teacher and to help you explore this year in your first year of school. I hope you are as excited as I am to begin your journey with me. I promise we will work hard to get ready for first grade, however, we will have LOTS of fun getting there.
