Joseph Sanchez was born and raised in a small west Texas town where he cherished the opportunities that helped shape him. His upbringing afforded him the opportunity to take part in every activity the school had to offer, giving him a wide variety of academic and extra-curricular experience. These opportunities led him to Sul Ross State University under a full tuition scholarship where he worked towards an English and Psychology degree. Mr. Sanchez later attended Texas State University to attain his teacher’s certification.
As a professional, Mr. Sanchez has had the privilege of working in both the academic and athletic realms of a school. He has received state honors as both an athletic and academic state UIL coach and led a campus to a Blue Ribbon recognition for improved test scores. Mr. Sanchez later attended Texas State University to pursue his Master’s degree where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into numerous collegiate national honor societies.
When not at work, Mr. Sanchez is a self-proclaimed book nerd who has an affinity for the classics. He holds a passion for traveling and considers backpacking through Europe as his greatest trip to date. Mr. Sanchez considers himself an avid outdoorsman and a fan of all sports.
