I am excited about leading BIS as the campus principal!  My main goal as principal is to support and guide teachers and staff in educating all students in order to positively impact our community for years to come.  Go Kodiaks!!

 

I grew up in Giddings, TX and moved to Huntsville to attend Sam Houston State after graduating top 10% of my class from GHS.  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Academic Studies with a minor in Mathematics in 2005.  I started working for Bastrop ISD at Cedar Creek Intermediate School as a math teacher.    I earned my Masters degree from Lamar University in Administration with hopes of becoming a principal one day.   I was promoted to Assistant Principal and served at Cedar Creek Intermediate, Bastrop Intermediate and Bluebonnet Elementary.   

 

I am very excited to serve our community and lead BIS as principal.
