The Emile Art Club consists of 25 fourth grade artists who learn different modes of art and discover new ways to express themselves as artists. Basic drawing and painting skills are developed and after school field trips are planned to visit local Bastrop art galleries, discover art around town and chances to speak to an actual artist.

The Club meets every Monday except for the first Monday of the month and holidays.

Students send in a permission form on the deadline day in September. The first 25 forms turned in make the membership first. If a spot opens up, the next on the list is invited to attend. If a member misses three meetings they forfeit their membership.

Behavior during Art Club and around campus is monitored at all times. Responsible behavior and good grades in the academic class should be exhibited by all Art Club members at all times.
