  • What a tremendous honor to serve the students, parents, and staff of Lost Pines Elementary, where we all “Work, Learn, Succeed…Like A Champion!”

I grew up in Fort Worth where I knew from a very young age that I wanted to become an educator. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. There I taught in the elementary setting for eight years and during those years I also received my masters in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University. I got my first assistant principal job close to my hometown and learned I was moving that same summer. My husband’s business moved us close to Bastrop and I became an Instructional Coach for BISD that same summer. I had a wonderful experience as an Instructional Coach, but I could not be more excited to now be serving as assistant principal of Lost Pines!

At home, my husband and I have two kiddos. Mabry is 6 and will be a first grader here at Lost Pines starting this year. She loves school, gymnastics and competing on her horse, Gypsy. My 9-month-old, Jace, is growing, learning so much, and into absolutely everything! He completes our family perfectly.

I look forward to getting to know all of our Lost Pines Explorers and their families. I believe that children thrive best when families feel connected to their child’s school and at Lost Pines, you are always welcome!

Thank you for the privilege to work with your children in fostering their growth academically, socially and emotionally.
