My name is Samantha Lewis, and I’m ecstatic to join the Emile Elementary family as one of the new Assistant Principals! Before stepping into this role, I spent several years as an elementary teacher and also served as a college lacrosse coach. These experiences have deeply shaped my passion for education and leadership. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Redlands in California. 

My husband, Cole, and I live with our two dogs and a cat, and we’re excited to be part of the Bastrop community. I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families in a positive and engaging school year.
