I’m incredibly excited to join Mina Elementary. The legacy of the campus runs deep, and it’s an honor to be part of that story.
I’ve worked in education for 15 years, serving in a variety of roles that have shaped how I lead and support a campus. I started my career as a 1st, 5th and RTI teacher before moving into campus leadership. I’ve served as an Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and most recently, Principal at Karnes City Primary.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where I studied at the Priscilla Pond Flawn Child and Family Laboratory and discovered my passion for early childhood education. I later earned my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
I believe deeply in the power of the early years. Elementary school is where kids first build their confidence, discover their interests, and develop a love of learning. It’s a privilege to help shape those experiences. I’m committed to creating a campus culture where every student is known, every staff member is valued, and every family feels connected.
