About Me

  • Welcome to Bastrop Intermediate School 5th grade math.  My name is Deborahday Hensley and I teach 5th grade math at BIS.  I earned my elementary education degree from Colorado Mesa University and a MA in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University.  I have taught middle school ESL, second grade, third grade, and fifth grade math and science.  I look forward to growing your child's math skills this year!

     

    My conference time is from 3 to 4 pm.

    If your child needs tutoring, there are three options available:

    1.  7:30-8:00 the learning lab is open in the library.

    2.  8:00-8:30 students can get tutoring during breakfast in the classroom.

    3.  After school may be scheduled in a caswe by case basis.  Contact the office for ACE tutoring information and application.
