Hi, my name is Amanda Braendle.  This is my eighth year teaching at Bastrop ISD.  I have taught 1st, 3rd, and now 4th grade.  I love being a teacher and especially enjoy teaching young children.  

 

I was born and raised in Round Rock, TX. I moved to San Marcos to attend Texas State University where I recieved my Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science.  I continued my education and became certified in EC-6th Grade, All Level P.E., Speech Communications 9-12, and ESL.  

 

I met my husband working concessions at UT.  After graduation, his job took us to Albuquerque, NM.  It truly was a very beautiful place to live but it was missing something important to me.... family.  We moved back to Texas and landed in Bastrop to be close to them.  We tied the knot in April 2016 and have been living happily ever after since.
