• Welcome to first grade!  My name is Kacey Boardman and this is my sixteenth year of teaching.  This is my sixth year teaching first grade at Mina and before that I taught second grade for ten years.  I am from Giddings, Texas and went to college at Texas State Unversity.  My husband and I live in Bastrop and we have an almost two year old son.  I love to spend time with family and friends.  My favorite season is fall and I love watching college football.  I am also a big Astros fan!   I am super excited about the upcoming school year and can't wait to see what amazing things unfold for my new students.
