• The American Government course is designed to give students a better understanding of the framework of government on both the national and local level.  The curriculum will focus on the analysis and annotation of primary sources, discussion of current events, and content readings in order to challenge students to think critically.  

    Coach Rangel, originally from Belton, TX, graduated from Belton High School in 2001.  After graduating, she moved to San Antonio to attend St. Mary's University and play for the University's soccer team.  She graduated from StMU in 2004 with a BA in History.  Since graduation, she has worked for Bastrop ISD.
