Hello! I love working as a School Social Worker at BHS and it is amazing how quickly time goes by when you are having fun! I enjoy working with students and their families by providing support to assist students in meeting their goals. Mental health is a strong focus of mine, as it is for our district. There are many challenges and rewards at work, and I continue to enjoy working with students at various levels based on their needs. I collaborate with community agencies and families in building healthy connections to resources available within Bastrop County and beyond. My goal is to make sure students and families have access to resources when they need them. I am here as a resource to families within our community.

Hi there! I am excited to be a part of the Team Bastrop family! I am an Our Lady of the Lake University and University of Texas graduate (Hook Em’!). I love being outdoors, crafting, and baking. I have a dog named Thor, who loves to cuddle and play fetch. My door is always open and I look forward to being your social worker (and cheerleader) this school year!

I am very excited to be at BHS! I began as a biology teacher 10 years ago, and continued my education into school counseling. When I have down time I enjoy watching my children take on the various activities they get into, SCUBA diving with my husband, and just being in nature. I feel blessed that I have been able to make my way back to this community and into such a welcoming environment.

Hello! I’m so excited to be joining the BHS team! I was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas (East Texas) and moved to Bastrop in 2007. After moving to Central Texas and taking some time off to spend with my kiddos, I returned to work and taught 6th and 8th science before transitioning into the role of counselor at Bastrop Middle School. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration with a teaching certificate from Stephen F. Austin State University and Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. My husband and two boys keep me very busy and on the go. I love the outdoors, reading, cooking and spending time with my family.

I am excited to begin my third year at Bastrop High School! This is my twentieth year as a school counselor. I have also spent several years in the public school system as a teacher and coach. The teachers, students, staff and community are amazing! Now, I understand what my friends meant when they said, "Bastrop is a historical town with grand ideas and talents."
