About Me

It is my pleasure to teach at Bastrop High School. I have been teaching for over 22 years. I have taught from 6th grade to college level. In all that time and in all those places, I have never felt so at home as I do here in Bastrop. I received both of my Master's degrees and teacher certifications from University of Houston - Clear Lake.

English IV is filled with an eclectic group of students. I enjoy trying to find a book for all of my students. I strongly believe reading is the key to helping students succeed!

This year we are starting an Academic Decathlon Team. I am the lucky coach. If any students are interested, just stop by room 223.
