Hello! I'm Corinne Clark and I teach Honors English II. This is my sixth year at Cedar Creek! I am from New Mexico and earned both my BA and MA in English Literature at the University of New Mexico. While working on my master’s, I taught freshman and sophomore Writing and Composition courses. After graduation, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I tutored prior to starting my current position at Cedar Creek.
English II is the final English STAAR test students must pass in order to graduate, and I take that into consideration for every unit and lesson we cover in class. This means much of our reading and nearly all of our writing is focused on persuasion, developing opinions, and supporting claims with evidence.
