My name is Denise Beniretto, aka, "Mrs. Beni"  I am the Art Teacher at Bluebonnet Elementary, and am thrilled to be a part of the Bluebonnet Family.  Welcome to my art world!

My Alma Mater is The University of Texas at Austin.  I hold a Bachelor Degree in Studio Art, with a Minor in Graphic Design.  I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and adore teaching Art at the Elementary level.

My hobbies are RV'ing around beautiful Central Texas with my family, cooking, dog grooming, biking, and creating art!

My Vision:

Art is a very perceptive experience.  The saying, "Art is in the eye of the beholder" holds true.  Each individual sees differently, and this way of seeing is what makes Art unique to us all.  My vision here at Bluebonnet is to introduce my students to as many forms of Art, Art History, Artists, Techniques, and Mediums as possible.  I will provide the background and tools to create artwork that reflects the diversities we all hold.  It about learning the PROCESS of Art first, and the individual styles will naturally follow.  With practice, anyone can create Art they can be proud of!
