About Us

  • Bluebonnet Elementary School is one of six elementary schools in Bastrop ISD. We are located on FM 1209 just north of Highway 71. We opened our doors in August 2004 and today, we serve approximately 770 students each year in grades Pre-K through 4th. Bluebonnet Elementary receives federal funds through the Title 1 program based on the number of enrolled students who qualify for the free- and reduced-price meal program.

Bluebonnet Elementary will be a model campus where educators thrive and students reach high levels of achievement with the skills and mindset to take on the world.

We will provide the BESt instruction for each child through a commitment to hold high-expectations and provide continuous feedback that develops individual student responsibility.
