Homework
Students will be given a folder containing skills that we are learning in class. The pages in the sleeves of the folder reinforce the skills we are doing in class and are to stay inside and your child may write on the sleeve itself with an expo marker that will be sent home with the folder. I only recommend students working on one or 2 pages a day. Their real homework is to spend time with you. A major part of the learning we are working on in Pre-K cannot be placed inside a folder to work on daily as what we are working on are social skills. By having your child tell you about their day and what they learned at school you are helping them to create language skills of wanting to share, listen, and be heard. Reading with them daily is also a great way to strengthen these same skills, so please make sure to read to your child daily.
