I am so excited to be a part of the wonderful things happening at Bastrop High School. I look forward to working with our teachers and students to meet the many challenges that this year brings. 

I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a focus on Special Education. I received my Master's Degree From Lamar University in Education Administration. I have worked in all areas of special education, served as the lead for RTI,  and before this was an Instructional Coach. With my experience, I hope to work with teachers and staff to ensure an equitable education for all students.  

On a personal note, I have three children, who each graduated from BHS.  I love all the extracurricular activities at the high school level, especially basketball. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and walking my crazy pack of dogs.
