My name is Caleb McCreary and I am honored to be an Assistant Principal at Bastrop High School. It is an privilege to serve the students and staff at Bastrop High School, where I have spent my entire career.
Since coming to BHS, I have been involved in many different activities, from teaching U.S. History and Advanced Placement U.S. History to coaching football and softball. I have served in several leadership roles on campus, including as a PLC lead for US history and a department chair for Social Studies.
My two children, Ethan and Alyssa, are both students at BISD and my wife, Sarah, also works for Bastrop ISD.
My challenge and charge to the students of Bastrop High School comes from my personal journey: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.” I look forward to serving you this year! It is always a great day to be a BEAR!
